There are variety of methods in which one can recycle plastic material. With more and more people becoming aware of the dangers of plastic, there was a change in attitude towards plastic in Malaysia, and in other countries of the world as well. The environment has suffered lots of damage due to plastics, from the landmass to the water bodies. Unless people get serious about saving the earth, it could jolly well be too late.

Plastic has its own utility, and is quite useful for a number of applications. But there are cleaner and greener alternative for many of these applications. However, there is already an endless amount of plastic in circulation throughout the globe, and people need to recycle plastic material as much as possible to keep pollution under control.

For industries and applications that can’t do without plastic, there are other measures that can be adopted. A plastic material supplier should make sure that no matter where the material is supplied, it gets recycled or properly disposed once its utility is over. This also comes under corporate social responsibility.

Folks throughout Malaysia are pitching in their efforts to recycle plastic material. Unfortunately, not all grades of plastic can be recycled. Only a few grades of plastic are recyclable. The other grades, even if they can’t be recycled, need to be disposed of properly and not randomly thrown into water bodies and open spaces.

Every plastic material supplier is bound to mark the grade of plastic. Industries should try, as much as possible, to buy plastic that can be recycled, if at all plastic cannot be substituted by some other material. Every person ought to be vigilante while purchasing merchandise, so as to reduce the consumption of plastic and buy only those that may be recycled later on.

Although it is good to recycle plastic material, generally once the plastic has been recycled and made into a different product, it can’t be recycled a second time. This means that individuals need to scale back their consumption of plastic so far as possible and use other more eco-friendly alternatives in its place. Individuals in Malaysia are choosing such materials as they become increasingly aware of the damages brought on by plastic to the environment.

Every plastic material supplier in the world is conscious that plastic is dangerous for the environment. Sadly, not too many are concerned about saving the earth. Though people recycle plastic material on a large scale, according to statistics large quantities are of plastic are still being released into the Pacific Ocean each day. Our oceans have been reduced to dumping grounds.

A number of laws have been passed in Malaysia regarding the disposal of plastics. But there are still places where rules and regulations aren’t followed. Just to recycle plastic materials isn’t enough; it needs to be disposed of carefully as well.

As more and more people throughout the globe recycle plastic material, millions of plastic products are still produced in many parts of the world. Efforts need to be coordinated well if we are to achieve any success at all.

Ever since its incorporation in 1976, LIDA PLASTICS RECYCLING SDN BHD, has undergone continuous progression and expansion in the field of HDPE plastic recycle products despite the recent economic recessions.

Many progressive towns and cities are either already recycling or are thinking of recycling old computers. Numerous municipalities already do this with television sets, but not so many do it for computers.

There are quite a few reusable parts in a computer when you think about it, but most people just throw their old computers away when they cease working or get ‘too slow’.

Then they go out and buy a new one which has exactly the same DVD player as they just put in the bin. That goes for the net card, the hard drive and the modem and other bits and items as well, I am sure. There might even be toxic substances in the chips that could contaminate the soil at the landfill site.

It will almost certainly be standard practice in the not too distant future to recycle computers and other items of electronic apparatus. In fact there are already some places that willingly accept ‘old’ computers, although there are not a lot that recycle the parts out of broken ones.

Some churches and most charity shops will take working computers to redistribute (or sell) to children, whose parents cannot afford to buy them or to be sent to Third World countries, where there is a dire need for computer hardware so that children are not left behind in the technological advances being made in communication and workplace apparatus.

However, there do not appear to be enough people cannibalizing old computers to create ones that work. After all, any computer is better than no computer at all and it does not take an advanced machine to go on the Internet, particularly if you do not insist on running Windows 7. Older versions of Windows are more that capable or running Internet software. We used them for years, didn’t we?

Monitors and printers are also reusable or even recyclable, although these things are not usually thrown out as frequently as computers. Monitors can be taken care of in the same fashion as televisions, anyway it is always handy to have a standby monitor.

Ink cartridges should be refilled rather than replaced. All you need is a bottle of the correct sort of ink. Indian ink will do for the black cartridge which is the one most people replace the most often.

Take a syringe with a needle, suck up a couple of millilitres and squirt it through the hole in the side – NOT through the hole in the bottom, or you will damage the cartridge. This hole is normally concealed with sticky tape or a label, but it is simple to find if you are searching for it. you can refill cartridges a dozen or more times, before they are clogged and that can save hundreds of dollars (here a black cartridge costs $10-15).

Colour cartridges are refillable in the same fashion and you ought to be able to get hold of the three inks necessary for colour printing at a printers. Colour cartridges are even more expensive to replace. Another advantage of refilling yourself is that you will not run out of ink part way through a print job.

Plastic recycling refers to the recovery of scrap and waste plastics, followed by reprocessing of the material in order to make other useful products. It is a rapidly developing concept in Malaysia as well as other countries of the world due to rising global concerns relating to pollution. Continue reading →

Plastic recycling refers to the recovery of scrap and waste plastics, followed by reprocessing of the material in order to make other useful products. These products may be entirely different compared to the original type of the plastic. It is a rapidly developing concept in Malaysia as well as other countries of the world due to rising global concerns relating to pollution.

Varied methods can be employed to recycle plastic material. As an example, soft drink bottles are melted after which reprocessed to construct plastic furniture – tables and chair. Plastic once recycled doesn’t resemble the original grade, and generally cannot be recycled a second time.

Monomer recycling is a widely employed process used to recycle plastic material in Malaysia. It solves a number of challenges that plastic recycling comes with. It’s an elaborate process in which the plastic, a condensation polymer, is subjected to the exact reverse of the polymerization reaction which is utilized in its manufacture.

Plastic recycling by the above technique yields the same chemicals that were used to formulate the plastic initially. This chemical mixture could be further purified and used in the synthesis of entirely new polymeric chains. The brand new polymer is therefore of the same type as the original.

Another process employed in Malaysia in the case of plastic recycling is that of thermal depolymerization. In this technique, assorted polymers get converted into petroleum. This process is far less precise compared to monomer recycling, but is capable of accepting almost any and each type or mixture of polymers.

Thermal depolymerization could be employed to recycle plastic material of the thermoset type, like vulcanized rubber tires, biopolymers of feathers as well as other sorts of agricultural waste material. The petroleum produced, can be reprocessed to be used as fuel, or utilized to fabricate all new polymers.

One of many methods employed for plastic recycling that’s becoming an increasing number of well-liked is that of heat compression. Although this method has not caught on in Malaysia, it is being used to recycle plastic materials in the US, Japan and Australia.

In the heat compression method that is used for plastic recycling, all kinds of cleaned plastic, starting from plastic bags to industrial waste, can be recycled. Large rotating drums called tumblers take in loads of unsorted plastic where they are compressed at high temperatures. Since this method doesn’t require completely different types of plastic to be categorized, and can recycle all the varied types, it’s obviously advantageous. However, post melt types are subjected to high heat, and the process requires a considerable amount of energy as well.

In terms of plastic recycling in Malaysia, persons are becoming increasingly more aware and concerned about the necessity and the importance of the cause. However, there’s still a long way to go to be able to achieve a considerable reduction in the amount of plastic waste that’s dumped carelessly in landfills and water bodies. Unfortunately, the system has not developed enough to ensure that all the plastic gets recycled. Source reduction is an urgent, immediate requirement in order to reduce pollution from plastics.

Cost effective and consistent quality product as well as fast services have helped LIDA PLASTICS RECYCLING SDN BHD to gain a reputable image in the relevant market.Currently employee about 50 people and production capacity of 520 MT per month.

There’s nothing wrong with a little friendly competition. That’s exactly what’s happening in the packaging industry. The shape and functionality of plastic bottles has expanded exponentially thanks to the eco-friendly, green movement, resulting in interest from both consumers and companies. The question to ask is whether buyers are genuinely invested in the concept of green living or merely entertained by the current fad.

Most of us can’t go a day without noticing some sort of sustainability advertisement. Whether it’s an all-natural product packaged in recycled packaging (we always have PCR in stock!) or a reminder to live greener (unplug your cell phone charger when it’s not in use!), there’s always something there. Does the fact that society has accepted the eco-friendly life affect the way consumers spend their money?

Anything and everything that is considered great is only made so thanks to specific characteristics. Post-consumer resin (PCR) plastic bottles, made from recycled plastic bottles are a sure-fire favorite with the green crowd. These bottles tout the benefit of less resin material and likewise related, less use of non-renewable resources.

Statistics from a study completed by Perception Research Services supports these arguments by revealing that “36 percent of consumers were likely to choose environmentally friendly packaging” and that packaging that was referred to as “recyclable” or “made from recycled materials” were the most purchased of the sustainable items. Funny that should be the case, because we happen to stock post-consumer resin containers, plastic bottles and jars made from recycled PET.

The truth is; we’re in a bit of a quandary when it comes to selling green plastic bottles, just as many of you are. Our PCR product line is a wonderful testament to sustainable practices. The fact that this material began as plastic bottles that were gathered, broken down, cleaned, dried, formed into pellets to then be formed into a new generation of plastic bottles is remarkable.

If only things could be more cut-and-dry. The benefits of creating and using sustainable plastic bottles are limitless. Consumers even seem actively engaged in the prospect as well. If everything lines up why aren’t more businesses or consumers purchasing the recycled and recyclable goods?

We’re not mind readers (unfortunately) and can’t explain why these green bottles and jars aren’t flying off our shelves. Be sure to study up on the product if specific issues are holding you back. For instance, the price of PCR typically runs 10% higher than virgin resins, but we’re currently selling our PCR and PET stock at the same rate. There are also rumors that the appearance of PCR falls short in comparison to PET. If you take a look through our collection of PCR you’ll see for yourself, that accusation is false.

As you can see, there are advantages and misconceptions surrounding the use of sustainable bottles and jars. Use this article as the momentum you need to make a decision for yourself and influence the industry either toward the use of green packaging or help establish a focus back to the classic, packaging basics.

You can package your product in a variety of different bottles. Read Kayla Holman’s article and learn how to support sustainability through the use of recyclablebottles.

More and more people everywhere in the world are becoming increasingly aware and concerned for the welfare of the environment. With the focus on alternate forms on energy and various other ways to reduce pollution, plastic recycling has turn out to be an integral part of the effort to save the environment across the globe, and Malaysia is not any exception.

Discovering a recycle plastic manufacturer in Malaysia, or some other place in the world for that matter, isn’t difficult. Nonetheless, efforts should also be focused on reducing the use the plastics. All kinds of plastics are derived from petrol. Oil resources are non-renewable, and depleting at a steady rate. The extraction and use of oil itself causes numerous pollution problems.

The manufacturing process of plastic releases large amounts of poisonous waste into the environment. Though plastic recycling can scale back pollution, the need for utilizing plastic ought to be decrease with as far as possible. A plastic item may be of use for a few minutes, but once it is discarded it could last for up to a thousand years within the environment.

Plastic does have its advantages. However, the industries which require its use should try to obtain it from a recycle plastic manufacturer, whenever possible. There are a variety of such producers in Malaysia, and quite a couple of are enlisted online. Marine ecosystems world wide are already heavily polluted with plastic, and that is having adverse results on aquatic animals as well.

Other than plastic recycling, attention ought to be drawn in direction of proper disposal methods. If plastic could be disposed of in a better method, then the pressure exerted on the environment can be dramatically reduced. In most cases, plastic is carelessly dumped in open places and water bodies. This needs to be prevented as much as possible.

The implementation of strict legislation could be very effective in order to ensure plastic recycling. It’s already practiced on a large scale, but there are still a number of places where changes must be affected. Such laws have been applied in a number of cities of Malaysia.

Careless disposal of plastic does not solely pollute the environment, but spoils the aesthetics of the place as well. Plastic poses a severe threat to animal life. And more often than not, the easiest way to eliminate them is through incineration. The burning of plastics releases harmful fumes into the environment. Thus plastic recycling is an absolute necessity.

For a recycle plastic manufacturer, the greater amount of plastic recycling, the better his business. In fact, plastic recycling is a rapidly rising industry from the West to the East, and Malaysia is not any exception. Increasingly individuals are finding employment through this avenue.

Our environment has already suffered an unimaginable amount of damage. The effects of pollution on our surroundings and our health, to not mention the health of all other living creatures, are known to all. It’s about time that we take responsibility for our actions, and plastic recycling is an efficient way to start before it’s far too late.

Ever since its incorporation in 1976, LIDA PLASTICS RECYCLING SDN BHD, has undergone continuous progression and expansion in the field of HDPE plastic recycle products despite the recent economic recessions.

There are a variety of misconceptions in terms of the recycling of plastic material. It’s the responsibility of each citizen to pay attention to the damage caused by plastic to the environment, and accordingly take every possible measure to recycle plastic resin and other plastic derivatives. This concept is catching on fast in Malaysia, as well as other countries across the globe.

Every plastic material manufacturer is bound to mark the product with the chasing arrows symbol. However, this does not mean that the plastic could be recycled. The only information supplied by this symbol is thru the number contained within the arrows, which indicates the general category to which the plastic resin belongs.

It is not possible to recycle plastic resin of all categories, only certain grades allow for recycling. Moreover, a recycled product generally can not undergo recycling a second time. Another misconception among people is that proper collection of plastic waste will decrease the amount of plastic that’s land filled. This technique usually backfires when the total usage of plastic increases faster than the rate of collection.

There are plastic recycling bins located in a number of places in Malaysia. But this doesn’t mean that each one of them effectively recycle plastic resin. More often than not, the plastic is simply collected, and rarely gets reprocessed into other useful products. The thrust should be on reducing the consumption of plastic.

Many a plastic material manufacturer will argue that the use of plastic containers helps in the conservation of energy. However, the truth is quite the opposite. The construction of plastic containers consumes as much energy as it would take to manufacture glass containers from raw materials. In fact, to recycle plastic resin often costs more than it would cost to make a glass container from scratch.

Most people in Malaysia, in fact all over the world, think that their efforts to decrease pollution start and end at measures to recycle plastic resin. But there are plenty of other feasible alternatives which may actually decrease the pressure exerted by plastic on the environment. These range from source reduction to refillable container, bulk purchases to minimal packaging and so on and so forth.

It’s part of the corporate social duty of every plastic material manufacturer to make sure that the manufactured merchandise may be recycled, as far as possible. Plastic has an a variety of benefits, and is indispensable for a variety of applications, but at the cost of severe damage to our ecosystems.

To effectively recycle plastic resin on a bigger scale, this can create employment opportunities for many individuals, other than saving the environment from pollution. Such developments may prove to be extremely beneficial for the unemployed in Malaysia, and in other nations of the world as well.

We need to recycle plastic resin as much as we will, whenever and wherever we can. Freshwater and saltwater ecosystems all around the world have been clogged by plastic, and the terrestrial ecosystems are in equally bad shape. If we could get over being lazy and irresponsible, it could work wonders for our environment.

The committee of LIDA PLASTICS RECYCLING SDN BHD would like to extend their sincere thanks to all customers who give their continuous support to enable the fast growth of the company. Our ultimate goal and success lie in our customers satisfaction and acceptance of our products.

That’s where this ongoing guide to recycling comes in. Of course our favorite kind of recycling is donating a car to charity (like Volunteers of America for instance). When you donate a used car or truck at CarsHelpingPeople.org you save the planet, energy and moneyplus you save big on your taxes with a charity tax deduction. You also help provide programs in your area that help the homeless, veterans, children and seniors. Go to CarsHelpingPeople.org to find out how Volunteers of America is helping people in your community. Now on to part 3 of our ongoing alphabetical series on recycling almost everything:

Eyeglasses: You can’t recycle plastic frames. But metal eyeglass frames? Those can be recycled. We’re not talking about melting them down and using them for scrap, we’re talking about donating them, lenses and all to the millions of people worldwide who have bad eyes but can’t afford glasses. Donate your old glasses at neweyesfortheneedy.com. Or drop them off at LensCrafters, Target or other stores and optical departments.

Film Canisters: Your kids might ask “What are those?” But maybe you have one of those relics from before the digital age lying around. You could try recycling them at your community recycling center, or see if a local photo lab will help you recycle them.

Fire Extinguishers: After you put out the fire, you shouldn’t put them in the trash. If you have an old or used up dry-chemical extinguisher, first relieve the pressure by squeezing the valve or handle Then you should remove the head and place the extinguisher with other large items for metal recycling. Some companies that sell fire equipment will take that used extinguisher off your hands. What if you have a carbon dioxide extinguisher? Just refill it and use it again!

Food Processors: The city or town where you live may offer small appliance pick-up for recycling. Some will even pick them up curbside if they are at least 50% metal (most appliances are about 75% metal, so you’re usually safe).

Formal Gowns: Got a purple frilly prom dress or a bridesmaid dress with puffy sleeves taking up space in your closet? Recycle them by donating them to a girl who can’t afford a new one at operationfairydust.com and catherinescloset.org.

Gadgets: Electronic gizmos like PDAs, MP3 players and other electronic devices are pass almost as soon as you buy them. Recycle them for a good cause – breast cancer research, at recycleforbreastcancer.org. They’ll even send you prepaid mailing labels for your gadgets.

Glue: Does old-fashioned white glue every get too old? It must, because there is a recycling program for this grade school staple. Rinse out old bottles of Elmer’s Glue, you can even rinse out old Elmer’s Glue Stick. Then send them to Wal-Mart for recycling. See how at elmersgluecrew.com.

Hangers (plastic): You might want to think about donating all those plastic hangers to a thrift store, because not many places will recycle plastic hangers. Probably because there is such a low volume brought in for recycling. Good news, Angelinos – LA is one of the rare cities that accepts plastic hangers for recycling.

Hangers (wire): Most dry cleaners are happy to take back your old wire hangers and reuse them. Sometimes you can put them in with your household metals recycling – check with your recycling service to see if you can. But make sure you take those cardboard tubes off. The best way to recycle an old wire hanger? Use it to roast marshmallows over a camp fire.

Don’t junk that car – recycle it. The best place to donate car, truck or boat is CarsHelpingPeople.org, the car donation program of Volunteers of America. If you’re thinking of donating cars to charity, check out our impact in your neighborhood. The car you donate will help the homeless, children, veterans and more. 877-721-4862

Many people nowadays have already grown tired of the overly repetitious advocacy to recycle. Recycle! For many, this is already a cliche, and well, sort of a boring stuff already. But here is one thing that these people miss: the natural goodness of recycling.

With that, having an own home is one of the leading wishes of a person. And as it is, individuals are continually looking for the very best material for their own properties. Therefore, in the event they discover several pleasant-looking kitchen design ideas or wonderful bathroom types even, odds are great that they will make a mental note copying or imitate the concept. This specific plainly says: mimicry – in bold letters!

So in order not to be dubbed as a mimic, it is good to come up with an original idea for home building. But even better than this, it would be more satisfying to come up with an original idea out from recycled building materials! Simply say, recycle materials and not ideas! Make sense?

Right now, it’s not so difficult a task to seek out building materials which are recycled but are just just as beneficial and inexpensive as those supplies. Or perhaps in many instances, recycled building materials cost lesser and therefore are stronger compared to those that aren’t. Therefore, recycle building materials.

Obviously, whenever a homeowner recycle materials or whenever he or she opts for building materials which are taken from waste products, then odds are great that he or she can come up with a new notion without needing to copy or mimic concepts for others. And in addition to this, many other benefits will be in store for the home owner.

So as a final point, it’s never really good to simply imitate concepts for house construction. Since it has been frequently said, the home somehow demonstrates the personality of the homeowner. And most certainly, nobody would like to be noted as an imitator. Therefore the greatest piece of wisdom for homeowners: recycle materials and not ideas!

Johnny Scissicio is a recycled glass countertops king and custom cabintes builder.

One of the many things talked about in an environment-conscious, do-it-yourself age is how to recycle at home. Pollution and Global Warming are serious issues today, and taking measures against them can never be thought about too much. This is where recycling comes in. A lot can be done to conserve energy and make for a cleaner and safer environment if less trash is accumulated and disposed of. If waste material dumped in landfills and brought to incineration areas can be cut in half, it will go a long way in making a cleaner Earth. And how much better if recycling is begun now, and people learn how to recycle at home?

Recycling in your own home always begin with reusing. A way of lowering trash is by reusing items including cans, plastic containers, paper bags, old shoe boxes and plastic cups. Tin cans and plastic containers can make handy little garden growing pots. This can be done by punching tiny holes in to the bottoms on the cans and ultizing a little artistic touch to decorate them. The tops on the plastic bottles can be cut off to make them neat, artistic and unique pots for the flowers and vegetables in your home garden.

Paper carry bags from the shopping center or specialised shops can also be reused. You are able to carry almost anything in a paper bag: from presents and shopping items to a picnic dinner. If they are gently handled, these paper bags can last for as long as you want them, and may be used and reused repeatedly.

Finally, plastic spoons and cups can be washed and reused for other occasions. There is no end to what can be done when you think about how to recycle at home. It is a helpful, responsible way that gives space for your imagination and creativity.

Recycling is a responsible and interesting method to take care of our Earth, save our natural resources and cut down the volume of unsightly waste. Everyone ought to do their part and understand how to recycle at your home.
